Nice enough hotel room and bathroom. The hotel has put effort into reducing noise from outside with double windows, but have seemingly made no effort to reduce internal noise. Every door in the corridor slams shut and people talking at a normal volume or drying their hair sounds like it’s in the room with you. Bring earplugs!

First room was right next to a demolition site (their other neighbouring hotel - work going in til 2025). Second room was tiny and was barely able to walk round the bed. People next door woke me talking loudly at 5.30am. No air con or heating. Opening the window onto a noisy London street was the only option. Sockets in my room were dead which I only realised in the morning when my phone hadn’t charged.

This was a great choice for our first visit to London. 30 minute walk to Buckingham Palace, to Westminster, to St. Paul's Cathedral. For the price ($270 Canadian a night) we were really satisfied. Excellent breakfast for 15 pounds. Rooms are small but renovated and very clean.

Location was great very central to all the spots that I personally wanted to check out. The bed was very comfortable as well as a newly renovated bathroom, and all the staff that I interactive with were very hospitable. But aside from that I woke up at 8am with the sound of furniture dragging and construction (this went on for hours), the second we walked onto our floor it smelt like a wood workshop and in the room we noticed a lingering body odor smell and the bathroom like paint. If you’re going in the summer be aware that there’s no AC in the room and the windows barely open so zero air circulation. But if you are sensitive to smells and noise I don’t recommend this hotel.

The staffs are very friendly. The Check-in went very smoothly. The breakfast provided has all varieties of food to give the day a good start. Last but not least, it is within walking distance to many attractions & the British Museum is just 5 min walk away!
