"Location is amazing: in the heart of downtown. Transportation is within walking distance. There are two metro stations super close by, Callao and Gran Via. Also buses out front. The hotel is just a beautiful property, perfectly appointed with era-appropriate furniture and features while also modern conveniences and a gorgeous bathroom. "This is a wonderfully central hotel and very walkable to many sites. The staff were so helpful and very friendly. Beautiful (but small) rooftop bar/pool area- not much seating but the delicious mojitos made up for it :) Our room was fairly clean except a few boogers on the wall and one on the blanket that we noticed as we were leaving. There was also a rotten apple underneath the shelving that I could see from the other side of the room. So housekeeping could do a slightly better job but...
