"This was our second visit to the hotel and we can't wait for a third trip. From the moment you arrive you feel like you are a VIP and Mark the concierge is amazing, such an asset to the hotel. After being welcomed with a glass of fizz and a tour of the hotels facilities Mark leaves you to relax at your own pace, he even shows you to your room once it is ready. The suite with hot tubs are unreal, we haven't stayed anywhere like it anywhere else. The restaurants and cocktail lounge are all fantastic and the spa is a very laid back relaxing area where you feel at ease instantly. Food was gorgeous, we had tapas in the cocktail lounge for lunch, the evening meal in Mizumi was gorgeous and breakfast was excellent. We can't wait to stay again. Thank you all."

"Hotel was superb. Pity it didnt sell swimwear for a last minute booking to use the spa facilities. Views were fabulous.Food was tasty. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They just need seperate trellis for outside balconies for extra privacy. Although alot of renovation going on but did not disturb the stay. "

"I visited with my wife and daughter for a chill out weekend after a busy first quarter. This hotel was ideal with stunning views of lake Windermere and the busy boating area of Bowness. We walked 20 mins into Bowness on an evening (torch required for return leg) and during the day. We relaxed around the hotels lake, and I must stay the weather played its part too. We ate in the hotel bar and the food was excellent, breakfast was one of the best we had too, plenty of choice, nothing was too much trouble, especially after regularly stopping at other high quality hotels. I marked the service slightly down as the car park attendant / luggage buggy driver push his way past me one morning when leaving the hotel and I felt his driving was a bit quick given my daughter was onboard the golf buggy holding items and trying to hang on. It I don’t want this to distract the a great location and stay, we wanting a luxury get away, relaxing break and that what we had. "
