« The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. « We absolutely loved this cottage!! It was soo clean and very homey. We had everything we need and the area was soo great!! Loved the lakeview. The host was also very responsive and kind. Highly recommend staying at this amazing cottage and we will be coming back again :) »

« Great property tucked away on the north shore of Head Lake. Very private. Great for young kids in terms of fishing and the paddle board and kayaks were a hit and kept them busy. Owners take great care to ensure everything is thought of. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thanks again. »

The cabin was perfect in all respects with a fabulous view over the lake from the amazing deck. Very spacious with all amenities and extremely peaceful. « Such an amazing week. Thanks to Tanya, our attentive and helpful host, my two kids (and our lab!) and I enjoyed our time. The cottage is well appointed, clean, pet friendly, with rooms accommodate everyone and a gorgeous outdoor space. « Best cottage getaway! Very gracious and clean with game boards,loads of DVD movies and a cozy indoor fireplace. Not to mention the spectacular hot tub overlooking the beautiful river! The property was very quiet and private. I would definitely stay here again! »

« My friends and I were happy to see that the cottage was as advertised - had plenty of space with four clean bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, functional a/c, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised at the extra items we could use, such as extra cooking oil, board games, and large floaties! However, we wished there had been some mention of how pervasive the seaweed is throughout the water for swimming, and that there had been a bit more communication answering our questions about check-in....

« We had a wonderful week in this cabin. While indoors might be not the coziest. The backyard is a wonderful place to spend your days. Sitting by the river. Swimming. Kayaking. Make fires at night. Listening to the complete silence. Very nice place to just unwind and read some good books. We had some problems with the toilet/septic tank. But it was all taken care of by the owner very quickly and friendly. »
