"I had gone for a winter retreat with the family. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The space in reality is better than in the pictures. There was ample bedding and space for sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped.The host was very quick and responsive to any queries or questions"

"The family enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend with great views from all the rooms and hallways with fresh air. The bed mattresses were really comfortable. However, there were bunch of issues including inefficient dishwasher, hazardous electrical outlets at the same level as the kitchen sink and no labels on the drawers or cabinets. It was time consuming search for kitchen stuff. Owner was not easily reachable. Otherwise it was value for money."

"This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the cottage and we have enjoyed it both times. There were 4 adults and one dog. Plenty of room for everyone. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is nice and warm and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a fire in the firepit both days. It was a nice surprise to find the wood piled and ready to light when we removed the cover the first day. We will be back next February! Thank you Marcie & Brent"

The cottage had everything we needed; a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a beautiful view of the lake. To better the chances of a white Christmas we chose a location close to Barrie but not too far north where we might get snowed in.
