If you're staying for just one night for a particular event and there's nothing else available I would grab it. It is so noisy day and night. There is very limited options for dining. There is a no frills grocery store directly across the street from the hotel which was a big bonus.

Very cool historic building in an interesting area of Vancouver. The room is very basic but was clean and stocked with all the necessities. The staff were all pleasant and accommodating. It's a 10 min walk to Commercial Ave which has a ton of great shops and restaurants. The area around the hotel is rapidly gentrifying with a new No Frills and Dollarama right across the street. Would stay here again!

They did tell me might be a little noisy wasn’t too bad, let front desk know I just needed towels she was going to tell cleaning lady, it wasn’t done, evening front desk girl brought up clean towels to me when I got back from my event I had attended
