« This was a perfect place for me, my son, his wife and their two children, ages 7 and 10, to get away together for a few days after Christmas. Despite having to change our outdoor plans somewhat due to rather lousy rainy weather, there were games to play and puzzles to put together and a well stocked kitchen where we made our meals together. And we still worked in several nearby, beautiful outdoor hikes, even if it was slushy. We enjoyed every minute. »

« Very nice cottage with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The decor makes you feel like you are out in the middle of the country. Must post a disclaimer for snowmobilers: The nearest trail is 3.5 miles away. Only way to get there is by ditch riding (which is legal). However, being unfamiliar with the area, having to cross multiple driveways and a couple bridges, we did not want to chance it with rental sleds. Plus, our rental place was only 10 miles away. Would not stop us from staying...

« We had an amazing stay at Knotty Pine! The cabin is absolutely charming, with a cozy, rustic feel that made it the perfect getaway.
