Cozy Cabin
This was a very cozy base camp for our exploration of the upper penninsula. Everything was functional. The bed is comfortable. The hosts anwered questions promptly. The property is close to a road, but hardly anyone ever drove by, so it is a super quiet spot.

Great little getaway
Nice little pet friendly cabin next to the Brule River. Its close to a number of lakes if you like fishing, and you can fish the river right there as well. The caretaker that lives nearby was very welcoming and had a very dog named Sarge. The on demand water heater was an unexpected bonus.

A great break from work
This quaint and well appointed tiny cabin was exactly what I needed to reset from a demanding job. Everything worked perfectly, and besides the occasional noise from the nearby road, it was quite peaceful. That calm serenity was only increased by the polite caretaker (who gifted me some local produce), as well as by their friendly and laid-back dog, Sarge! I plan on being back!

Motorcycle Getaway
The log cabin we stayed in was perfect. We like to eat in when we stay somewhere that has a kitchen and this one was perfect with all the items needed including a grill and charcoal. The one room cabin was perfect for two people and was in a good location for many scenic drives in the area. We highly recommend Brule River Cabins.

So lovely, we came back
This is the perfect spot for us to stay with our dogs when in the Iron River area. There is a little traffic noise from the highway, but nothing ridiculous. Other than that, so peaceful and comfy. Will definitely be staying again!

Northwoods getaway
We had such an amazing time! It was a spurt of the moment decision to come up as our summer plans to stay had to be canceled. But it was exactly what we needed. So peaceful and we had a daily guest who very politely knocked on the door to be let in to say hello. Sarge was an added delight as we tend to miss our kids and own dog. He was certainly an added surprise. We look forward to staying again hopefully sooner rather than later.

The Photos Online Don’t do it Justice!
It is so beautiful and relaxing there that as soon as we got there, we immediately regretted not booking for more days. The photos online are good, but don’t capture how cozy everything is! 10/10 already thinking of our next trip out there!

Unplug and unwind
The cabin is adorable, and the property is well kept. The stream behind the property is gorgeous, and there's a cool walking trail on the property that's great for a morning walk with our black Lab. We really enjoyed not getting cell reception in most of the areas with ATV trails, and fishing, because it made the trip more enjoyable with the rest of the world left behind. The cabin does have wifi and a TV, so it was nice to choose when we could plug back in.

Great stay… but beds, not so great.
We stayed in cabin number 2 for the second year in a row and overall enjoyed the stay. However, we did not sleep well at all because the beds are in bad need of new mattress and boxsprings. If you can imagine trying to sleep on a queen size hammock with two people, that pretty much describes our sleeping experience. We were both constantly rolling to the middle of the bed and bumping into one another all night long. Not to mention my back was so stiff in the morning it was difficult to get out of bed. We really love the cleanliness of the cabin and all the amenities the host provides. The check in and check out process is very smooth and the hosts are very accommodating. The location on Highway 55 right next to the Brule River is very convenient. I would recommend this stay for anyone needing a quiet getaway for two adults or a small family. Hopefully the host can upgrade the mattress and boxspring to make future stay amazing!
