"Nice place and great service but the room on the 9th floor smelled like a restaurant in the evening during restaurant rush hour and the wester section of the morning breakfast buffet was cold. Cold ham, bacon, sausage and paulenta. Nicely prepared but missing the mark when cold."

"This is an excellent hotel for the price, right on top of the train station, 5 minutes walk to the tube and 10 mins walk to a small night market which you can enjoy local food and massage. Not far from central Taipei so either getting an uber or on the tube are both convenient. Highly recommend."

"Great location! Hotel is well maintained and most staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 days there the first week and 5 days the last week during our stay in Taipei. Most staffs we encountered were pleasant except one female receptionist who did not give us good impression. But overall it is a hotel I will recommend. "

"By far the BEST hotel in all our travels so far (including Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines)! The decor was modern and eye-catching, and everything was super clean. The hotel common areas and individual rooms were very clean and modern. We really loved our room: it was very spacious, comfortable, clean, and the bed was so comfortable I felt like I was sleeping in my own bed! The bathroom was carefully cleaned by the conscientious housekeeping team it felt like I was the very first person to use it; and the bathroom included a separate shower and bath, double sinks, and a modern toilet with heated water in the bidet and heated seat. The hallways and rooms were so quiet my wife and I had a refreshing sleep every night we were there. And the refrigerator was kindly stocked with free (non-alcoholic) beverages that added a nice, welcoming touch. The restaurant (Bar 98) served delicious food and drinks (we had a Caesar’s Salad and Cheeseburger with fries on one night and hot tea with pastries on another night). The hotel was perfectly situated to access the MRT (which we used frequently) and the High Speed Rail and buses (which we didn’t use). The MRT Blue Line at Banqiao Station was great for accessing all the spots we hoped to see during our visit. It was also close to many shopping malls and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and quick to respond to our requests and demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism and service. Thank you!!"
