Our room had an amazing view of Lake Rotorua. The area is nice and quiet and relaxing. The complementary breakfast was very delicious. Parking was okay, but the driveway was very narrow and only one lane. Overall highly recommended if you really want to stay away from the tourists.

Amazing couple running this lodge. So friendly and welcoming. The lodge itself is so amazing and relaxing. Beautiful views and quiet away from the main strip of tourism. This spot is quite literally the best. It was such a good place to rest our feet after a long day of travel.

We absolutely loved Koura Lodge, the views are breathtaking and the owners really friendly. Rooms are a little dated if you're comparing to inner city 5 star hotels, but it didn't bother us at all as it's what's outside the windows that captured our attention!
