"Simple but comfortable and great value. My wife has back trouble with uncomfortable beds, and the King bed in the first floor room met her needs. Host was attentive and provided good service. Charming neighborhood with small market, coffee and bakery about a block's walk away. Easy to park on the street. Easy to drive to UBC and Kitsilano and Point Grey neighborhoods."

"Brian was a great host, picking me up from the airport promptly and making me feel at home. Room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The outdoor space also looked like a fantastic place to hang out, though I didn’t get a chance to spend much time there. Located in a nice quiet residential area."

"Host was kind, welcoming, responsive. We were there 12 hours about, just in and out. Needed a soft bed to sleep in and it was perfect for that. No complaints. It isn’t a bed and breakfast like you might think where something is cooking for you in the morning, but that was just fine for our packed schedule! "

"The place was very nice. however we were in the oak room, and one of the employee's area is right next to the back bedroom and it was a bit wierd being in our bedroom and hearing a person cough and such. Would be good to make that more sound proof because if we could hear the employee, they could hear us talking. "

He gave me a room away from the other tenants and one of the family bathrooms, which was nice and clean- much appreciated. Upon arriving, I noticed that the bedding was not very clean, but upon informing the host, he replaced all the bedding with a clean one.
