« The accommodation was as advertised. No unpleasant surprises. Wood fire kept the house cozy. We were there late autumn, it would have been a great addition to have a wall heater in the bathroom which was outside on the back porch. Otherwise I would recommend a stay for those who can tolerant Taranaki temperatures. The easy close walk to the Whangamomona Hotel was the icing on the cake. »

« Property was quaint & quirky. Loved having the fire (essential for keeping property warm). There was no coffee plunger available but coffee so had to borrow from accross the road. Great position in town. »

« From walking into the Villa, we felt home. A fire was heating the whole house, and everything was just absolutely perfect. All amenities have been provided, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast and basics to cook your own meals. This is really a true gem in the heart of Taranaki and we will surely be back. Thank you, Amanda, for your hospitality and taking so much pride and care to make our stay memorable. Very highly recommended!! »

« The owners are friendly and quick to respond. The house is cosy, and our whole family enjoyed our stay. We really liked the comforts of home, including the TV, and also really appreciated using the kayaks and fishing rods. My sons were fishing most of the time! Just a couple of little things we have for suggestion: the beds were not made, however, we had access to linen to make them up ourselves. It was useful having the washing machine and dryer, however maybe the dryer needs to be moved...

« Great little cabin that was spotless & better than we were expecting. They were very accommodating for our friend to pitch his tent beside us so we could all be together.
