« Wonderful area and very practical. I was charged extra for my dog that i was not aware of. Bring your own towels and coffee filters. Even though i stayed 3 nights there were only 3 coffee filters. I drink more than one coffee a day. »

« We had a lovely time but it didn’t feel like a cottage setting. Neighbours were very close to us. The river was interesting as we watched pontoons go up and down. The firepit was nice and big. Kitchen was good but a microwave would have been welcome to warm up leftovers. If you are looking for a quiet cottage setting, this may not be the place for you. »

« The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. « The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. « We stayed at Jacob's Lakehouse September 20-23 of 2024, wish we had booked for longer. Family of 10 and cottage was very spacious. For our family we could have probably used an extra room, but we knew what we were getting in to. There was so much to do, inside and outside, on the lake or venturing off the property like we did. « Best cottage getaway! Very gracious and clean with game boards,loads of DVD movies and a cozy indoor fireplace. Not to mention the spectacular hot tub overlooking the beautiful river! The property was very quiet and private. I would definitely stay here again! »

« My friends and I were happy to see that the cottage was as advertised - had plenty of space with four clean bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, functional a/c, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised at the extra items we could use, such as extra cooking oil, board games, and large floaties! However, we wished there had been some mention of how pervasive the seaweed is throughout the water for swimming, and that there had been a bit more communication answering our questions about check-in....

It had outdoor activities which my family really enjoyed and kept thanking me for finding this cottage for our Thanksgiving weekend getaway. We would definitely go back. « We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a group of six, and there was more than enough space for all of us. This rental is well equipped with everything you need. The deck was beautiful, and the campfire pit was so peaceful. We had a fire after dark and sat in the Muskoka chairs with a beautiful view of the water.
