"My family and I loved our time at Ron's cottage! There was so much for all of us to do; we had a great time kayaking, playing badminton and having s'mores by the fire at night. We also really enjoyed fishing in the canoe as well as playing pool and air hockey in the games room! Inside the house is very nice and had the cottage vibe we were looking for and the newly renovated dock was perfect for the surprise I had planned, which was a proposal to my now fiancé! "We only stayed for 3 days but it was really nice. Karen and Stuw went out of their way to make us feel really welcome. The secluded location is far enough away from Fenelon Falls to provide some detachment from everything if you want that but close enough to it to get there easily if you don’t. Accommodation was very clean and had just about everything in it that you’d need, especially in the kitchen area. The only thing that perhaps we would have appreciated would have been drapes or blinds...

"We had a lovely time but it didn’t feel like a cottage setting. Neighbours were very close to us. The river was interesting as we watched pontoons go up and down. The firepit was nice and big. Kitchen was good but a microwave would have been welcome to warm up leftovers. If you are looking for a quiet cottage setting, this may not be the place for you. "
