"The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Cannot state enough how fantastic the staff was. The property is showing its age a little bit, but it is still in good shape. The included breakfast buffet was fantastic. The dinner buffet which was extra was also great. The room I stayed in was also excellent. The pool was in great condition. Enjoyed spending time in the pool. Short walk to the beach and other establishments on the beach. "

"This property has a certain charm, is very atmospheric with pretty gardens, but seems passed its prime. The room we were given smelled strongly of mold, the private pool was too gross to swim in, the small beach was not inviting and everything generally felt decrepit, dirty and in poor condition. After complaining and showing staff our issues with the room, we were eventually moved to another one which was much better. Our experience wasn't great but some may like it and staff was responsive....

"I liked the rustic aesthetics of the resort and that it is relatively close to Alona Beach and the airport. The ocean view rooms are very nice, you can walk straight onto the beach and into the water off the porch. As far as the negatives, not really a big deal, but the main pool is a bit small for the size of the resort. The day pass is very affordable in my opinion and a lot of people take advantage of it so it can get somewhat crowded at times. Also, for a 4.5 star resort, I think the...
