"I liked the rustic aesthetics of the resort and that it is relatively close to Alona Beach and the airport. The ocean view rooms are very nice, you can walk straight onto the beach and into the water off the porch. As far as the negatives, not really a big deal, but the main pool is a bit small for the size of the resort. The beach has white sands and very calm waters making it easy for kids to swim in. Easy walk along the beach to town and shops. Highly recommend Amorita and Panglao! "

"The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Cannot state enough how fantastic the staff was. The property is showing its age a little bit, but it is still in good shape. The included breakfast buffet was fantastic. The dinner buffet which was extra was also great. The room I stayed in was also excellent. The pool was in great condition. Enjoyed spending time in the pool. Short walk to the beach and other establishments on the beach. "

"Nice room and pool area. Bed was firm. Cold water only in washbasin. Toilet seat loose and reported on arrival but still not fixed after 5 days despite reminder. Hotel is surrounded by water land and building sites and does not have easy access to beach. Main road is difficult to walk on to get to local town as no pavement and surfaces very uneven. "

"We just completed a 5 night stay at the Cliffside resort. The owner (Julia) is extremely friendly and takes pride in her staff and resort. The staff is friendly and very accommodating, any requests we had were immediately met with no questions asked!! The rooms are clean, and the food was great!! If you are looking for a place to stay where the staff treats you like friends instead of guests, then I'd recommend staying at the Cliffside Resort when you are in Bohol. I know the next time I'm in...
