« 1st time visiting the East Coast and our stay in this beautiful, quaint home was perfect! We felt the warm welcome as soon as we walked in and enjoyed the thoughtful complimentary items. The house was close to Harper’s Ferry & neighboring cities, lots to do in close proximity. Enjoyed the porch on our last night as we sat and listened to the rain and the sound of the river. Host was very attentive & prompt. Definitely recommend as a place to stay for a small family! »

« Owl's Nest was the sweetest little cabin for a minibreak. The house was incredibly well stocked (best pans and kitchen supplies i have EVER seen in a rental). We enjoyed our Easter in the small cabin - watching storms roll in on Sat and Monday. And taking the owners advice and visiting Swallow Falls for a hike on Easter Sunday. The hot tub was clean and nice. The outdoor seating was lovely (and the weather meant we took advantage of the outside area a lot). »

« The cabin, the property, the gardens were magical. It was quiet and very peaceful.Surreybrook gardens are a site to behold and their shop has so many wonderful things at reasonable prices.Home made scones were in the freezer when we got there and supplied specialty teas were enjoyed with them. We are so grateful we found this cabin. »

« This was my first time staying with VRBO. It was a million dollar view. There were just a few minor things that were mentioned before on other reviews that were not taken care of such as the hole in the master bedroom door, the smell of sewage in the kitchen the garbage disposal area, and also the stairs down to the dock area didn't seem too stable.
