« This was our 1st time going to Deep Creek Lake. They allowed us to check in a little early which was wonderful! The lobby area was beautiful and had games to play at the tables. Our suite was nice and clean. Some of the lights didnt work so it felt dark in our room. The bed upstairs was very firm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We liked having the sofa bed and huge TV. It was also nice that they had coffee in the lobby in the morning. They have boat and kayak rentals on the property which was...

« Didn't get to enjoy the view because it was raining on and off. The place was great and view by the lake was wonderful. »

« The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience. »

« 1st time visiting the East Coast and our stay in this beautiful, quaint home was perfect! We felt the warm welcome as soon as we walked in and enjoyed the thoughtful complimentary items. The house was close to Harper’s Ferry & neighboring cities, lots to do in close proximity. Enjoyed the porch on our last night as we sat and listened to the rain and the sound of the river. Host was very attentive & prompt. Definitely recommend as a place to stay for a small family! »

« Owl's Nest was the sweetest little cabin for a minibreak. The house was incredibly well stocked (best pans and kitchen supplies i have EVER seen in a rental). We enjoyed our Easter in the small cabin - watching storms roll in on Sat and Monday. And taking the owners advice and visiting Swallow Falls for a hike on Easter Sunday. The hot tub was clean and nice. The outdoor seating was lovely (and the weather meant we took advantage of the outside area a lot). »
