"We were travelling by train, between France and Vigo. The train timetable was such that we needed an overnight stop having arrived at Madrid Atochoa and leaving the next day from Chamartin. This hotel was perfect - and busy! It’s above the Chamartin station. It can be difficult to find initially (we walked to the Main Street missing the escalator up to the hotel). Once there (the entry is off the main multi level carpark), registration was quick and professional, advice about breakfast clear. Our room was very spacious and the king bed wonderful! In one night, no unpacking - just toiletries. Bathroom is spacious and everything worked! Slept like logs except for a group of three very loud men in the corridor - must have woken everyone at 3am! Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant area is huge (we did have dinner there the night before - adequate). However, breakfast included a pastry/bread etc area. Then separately a huge buffet of hot and cold dishes of European and Asian dishes. Cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and juices and drinks. A great start to a longer day on restrains."

"Excelente estancia. El hotel es muy limpio y silencioso a pesar de estar a lado de la plaza del sol que es muy concurrida por las tardes. A la salida del hotel tienes muchas opciones de restaurantes para comer y la estación del metro o camión no está muy lejos. Ahora, si lo tuyo es caminar, el palacio real y el museo del prado están a unos 12 minutos caminando."
