"White marble floors in the lobby. Staff eager to please. Quiet room (31) away from the sidewalk. My only criticism is that they need to replace the plastic flowers with live plants, and I suggest that they paint the faded room doors in baby blue. The hand rail going down from the second floor to the first floor (third to second, in the U.S.) needs to be secured. Overall, excellent value for the money, smack dab in the middle of town on top of the mountain."

"A lovely remote hotel constructed from an old coffee plantation house. Excellent buildings and layout, lovely food, plenty to do but if you don't like crowds, avoid the weekends! The hotel was overtaken by wealthy Paulistanos in their expensive cars with kids that don't know how to behave (a trait all over the world!). The high level of rowdy children spoiled an otherwise perfect stay. A great hotel, just avoid the weekends!"

"We checked in, walked into the room and immediately felt the room was not clean, smaller than what you see in the pictures, there was hair around the toilet seat and around the bedroom. We literally entered the room and left within 5 minutes. I do not recommend. There was no hand soap, no shampoo, no body soap, nothing… I was only meant to stay for one night, and I didn’t know nothing is provided either. This place isn’t to a “hotel’s” standard, it should be referred to as a motel. "

"A pousada me recebeu antes do horário, ajudando na agenda. Entretanto, o quarto tinha razoável cheiro de mofo, a porta do banheiro é de correr em plástico, não tranca e é muito barulhenta. O box também é de plástico, com dificuldade de correr no trilho. A cama é confortável e os lençóis estavam limpos. Café da manhã sofrível para uma cidade do interior. Área externa é bonita, e vale o passeio. Mas o preço não compensa. "
