"This property is dated, but has potential. Bed was comfortable. Views cannot be beaten! We did find a few stains in the bathroom that housekeeping missed, but no biggie. You will hear the train come by every 25 minutes or so at night (till about 2am), so bring earplugs."

"Property was great - had a lovely yard and everything you could need for a nice vacation. The location is wonderful, but my favorite part was the hosts, Warren and Meryl. They were incredibly accommodating and very attentive for everything I needed. Thank you - will definitely be returning. "

"This hotel is located in Leucadia a neighborhood in coastal Encinitas. It’s within walking distance of the many nice restaurants and the beautiful Moonlight beach, while being detached enough from both for peace and quietness. The hotel itself was clean although the hallway carpet could use a refresh and the rooms are lacking in the quality of decor. Overall, I gave it a 4 because in this area location is everything and with the price point it’s a good deal."

"Room was decent, nice beds. Breakfast was great every morning! The pool was cold, but we came in April, so i get it ...we swam in the hot tub :) it was right next to I5 so loud. Also to exit you had to turn right, kind of a pain, because everything you wanted was left...kind staff and clean, safe property."

"We had a fantastic time at Richard‘s place! The location is excellent, with sunsets on the balcony every evening. Did not disappoint! Richard was extremely responsive to every message we sent him and very pleasant to deal with. We had an issue with the laundry Initially and he sorted it out immediately.. He also plumbed in an electrical outlet for us so that we could plug in our hybrid electric vehicle to charge. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a beautiful ocean view and...
