« The house has all of the amenities you need to stay in touch if you want but also the beautiful outdoors to distract you and allow you to escape from reality and just enjoy the lake. Floats, kayaks, towels, grill, fire pit, wifi, it was all amazing! We had a few hiccups when we got there but Emily and Tucker jumped right on it and we were fixed in no time! »

« This property was perfect for our family get together. It was clean, cozy and well equipped. The dogs had a blast. We rented a boat and the dock was perfect. Other water activities were enjoyed by all and the dock was perfect for fishing We loved it!! Oh and the cinnamon rolls were super yummy! Thanks for a great stay! »

« We had a great time at Songbird View! The house was perfect with an amazing view. There was plenty of room for our family to space out and enjoy themselves. « 13 of us stayed at this house for 4 nights. We all had plenty of space to spread out and come together. The lake access is fantastic. There are so many amenities, even an ice maker. « We’ve spent a decade on the Lake and we had another wonderful trip! THANK YOU to Mary who was a fantastic hostess from the very beginning – wildly responsive to messages, checked in on us every few days, provided recommendations in the area, and greeted us with flowers / coffee / chocolates at the house. She was spectacular! Some of our favorites: view of the lake from the sunroom – we enjoyed all our family meals here; the coziness of the fire pit and it was really nice to have the firewood...

« We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! Some upkeep could be done to the place, new lightbulbs , and just general maintenance but other than that, great time!
