« A 200 year old pub and inn - interesting ! Unfortunately our room was fairly horrible, we definitely got the hotels.com room : 200 year old mattress, wall view, kitchen vents under the window and lots of noise when we (or the neighbours) ran any water. Food in the evening was good and breakfast ok (very dingy dining room). Everything needs an overhaul. The staff were great though ! »

There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. »

« Excellent fewdays in Hawick. Loads to do in Hawick, places to get food & drink excellent and Saturday's can have a real buzz about town if rugby club win. That said Hawick High Street is a bit tired looking & could do with a bit of money spent o it. It has potential to be an excellent visit venue. The Bank Bank House was top class. Donna (the owner) couldn't be more helpful. Ecellemt location, comfy, stylish & clean. Will be back next time im down in Hawick. »

« Lovely room in clean house in centrally placed location. Just a couple of negatives. No ordinary breakfast tea in room just coffee or chamomile tea. Lovely shortbread though. No t.v. stations just bbc 1. Plus no breakfast. Wr asked numerous times about breakfast and were told to see Christine. But unfortunately Christine never appeared. Think we had paid for it aswell. It didnt spoil our stay just disappointing. »

« Fantastic property. 16 of us for a family birthday. Lots of different spaces so we werent on top of each other all the time. The teens really enjoyed the games room. It was also great having all of us round the huge dining table. Location is ideal so we walked in to Galashiels and also in to tweedbank , no need to get in the car. »
