"My issue here is that I had a card on Expedia and I asked to pay with a different one, they said it was Totally fine and I could pay with any card I wanted to. However I checked on my other card and they still charged me on that one, apparently their first attempt declined and they put it on two different charges amounting to the total i was supposed to charged for the stay. Basically I paid double. "

"Great stay at Hotel Place d'Armes. We drove to Montreal, and easily found parking outside the hotel for check-in. Staff helped us with our bags and valet parking made dealing with our car super easy. Our room was spacious, clean, and had beautiful windows and exposed brick. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service was available twice a day. We ate breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, Brasserie 701, which both were delicious. Hotel location was also very convenient to old Montreal and Rue Saint Laurent. We would stay here again. "

"The hotel is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. In spite of being located on a very busy boulevard the hotel is quiet and there is plenty of parking available on site. It is a short walk to the metro and there are lots of stores and a wide variety of fast food, as well as dine-options nearby. I look forward to staying there in the future, when renovations have been completed and more amenities are available on-site. If there were any renovations going on during my stay, I didn't notice. My room was near the elevator, which makes a squeaky, grinding noise, which you didn't notice until late at night, but it was not loud or enough to impede or disturb my sleep."
