« Walked into a 45 degree room that took four hours to heat up, window sills and walls by shower are filthy, sign in elevator says no continental breakfast on fri/sat/sun but they had one, no garbage can in breakfast area, broken outlet cover in breakfast area, bottom safety handle in shower not attached, bathroom fan quit working, not enough signage in the bldg to find the lobby We stayed here one year ago and had none of these problems, they are letting it go downhill »

« The self check-in process was a bit unclear. We were fortunate to see someone near the property who knew the owner. He called and was able to relay better info on how to access the room we'd reserved. When we entered the room across the hall had it's door ajar and the distinct aroma of marijuana was emitting from within. So a little disconcerting as Wis is not "legal" yet. « If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax »

« We found this cabin after a last minute search for a rental after finding out a wedding we were attending was farther from home than we thought, and I am so glad that we found this cabin! It’s the perfect size for 2 people and a dog! The view of the river from the porch is absolutely stunning, especially during fall when all the leafs on the trees were turning beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow! « The house was great for our 1 night. Open floor plan worked well for the kids and our lab. House was clean and in good repair, but bathroom could use some updating. Neighborhood was quiet and park and river were across the street. Would be nice for a summer stay also. »

« A few hours after checking into the VRBO on Friday, there was a mechanical issue in the house related to the extreme cold weather which could have ruined our entire weekend; however, the property owner promptly got someone on sight first thing Saturday morning, determined the issue couldn't be fixed immediately, found a property within 1 mile where we could stay for no additional fee, AND gave us a refund. « Our niece was getting married in the area and we needed to have a place for 10 or more people to stay. We were looking for a place that we could have enough room to relax the night before with some game playing and conversation. Then have enough space for everyone to get ready the next day. « My husband and I came up for a quick visit to see my in-laws. I wish we could have spent more time at this cabin. It was adorable, it had all the necessary amenities. I loved the wood stove; it kept the cabin warm on chilly evenings. Staying right on the Wisconsin river was a bonus. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch and listening to the wind chimes. I saw from the guest book that many people who stay have returned multiple times since their first visit and I plan to come back, too! ...
