I stayed at the Sable Hotel at Navy Pier for Valentine’s Day, expecting a special and luxurious experience, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing.
First, the water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent, making it frustrating to use. To make matters worse, I noticed mold on the shower ceiling and floor, which was unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The overall cleanliness of the room was also below expectations.
One of the most frustrating parts of my stay was the valet service. I had a dinner reservation for Valentine’s Day, but I ended up being late because I had to wait 15 minutes for my car. This level of service was disappointing, especially on such a special occasion.
For the price and reputation of this hotel, I expected much better. The location and views are great, but the lack of cleanliness, poor water pressure, and slow valet service really took away from the experience. I hope management addresses these issues because right now, I wouldn’t recommend it.
