"This hotel had the most amazing night staff. He bent over backwards when we arrived late from our flight, personally making us food and serving drinks after the kitchen closed. We got great recommendations and the breakfasts and dinners were fantastic. We got an upgraded room with an picturesque view of the lake at sunrise. It's a fantastic place!"

"This was a very nice hotel, we stayed here for our first night in Iceland. The reception was very helpful and nice, making check in easy. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature being wayyy too hot as the gauge seemed broken beforehand. We waited to see if the water would cool down after some time and it did not. The faucet ran very hot after that as well. "

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!"

"Definitely stay here again. Our hand soap dispenser wasn't working and they fixed it same day. Brought us fresh towels and emptied our trash daily, which I wasn't expecting. I communicated with them via email and they responded quickly and friendly. Had the hot tub room. It drained and refilled daily. Great view and clean room. Doors were hard to lock and unlock, bit that was part of the adventure. Our only complaint was a group of teenagers was staying at the same time and they were running...

"While our three day stay in Reykjavik Grandi was very good hotel-wise, my Phantom crypto account was hacked by a hacker in this hotel's lobby and $475 CAD was stolen, and my tokens individually sent to the crypto hacker's wallet. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again! Their WiFi is insecure."

"Thhey utilize their space well. We stayed in a hub. We opted for the lower bunk. Just the right space that we need to sleep. They have outdoor hot tub. They have a common room where they have ice machine, fridge and microwave. They have self-serve bar and vending machines in the property. It's witing walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, souvenir stores, cafe’s, small groceries. You'll need to drive to other places. There are buses around too. There are options for parking, and we used a parking garage a block away."

The rooms were impressively spacious, clean, and well-maintained — a real comfort after long days of sightseeing. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the city centre, making it easy to explore key attractions, restaurants, and shops on foot. One of the highlights was the breakfast. There was a wide variety of fresh options each morning, and everything was well-prepared and replenished regularly. The staff were also courteous and helpful throughout my stay. Very Pleasant Stay

"Lovely room, nice decor and furniture and a decent size. Wifi was very good. Kettle in the room but there was a sign saying no cooking so I presume that means you can't use the kettle for making noodles. There is a grocery shop just behind the hotel which was very convenient. In front of the hotel is the seafront which was very nice."

"The newly updated side of the Center's Plaza site is beautiful, clean, and in a great area for access to multiple destinations in Reykjavik. The staff is wonderful and helpful, and in the lobby is an opportunity to socialize in a clean, open environment. There is street noise at night which can't be heard with the windows closed, coming from a few local night clubs. Overall, a really great experience, and very clean. "
