"Lovely hotel right in the centre of town. Handy for early morning tours as is close to several bus stop pick up points. Hotel room (deluxe) was very small and a bit tired with lots of signs of wear and tear. Didn’t really like the stand in bath/shower as the bath is very high and a bit dangerous once you hit a certain age. I think the hotel should not put older guests in rooms with baths when there are walk in showers available. That said lovely hotel, great staff, centrally located, healthy...

"The Reykjavik Edition is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. For my first time in Iceland it was an unforgettable experience and the hotel was just as amazing as the country itself! The staff there were unreal and so accommodating, I've never felt more taken care of! "Great hotel! Walking distance from restaurants, shops, museums and the harbour. Close to the tourist pick up bus stop. Pretty interiors and friendly helpful stuff. The bed is was very comfortable with weighted blankets and there was a Nespresso machine in the room. I’d stay here again!"

"The desk staff were fantastic, consistently friendly and helpful. The mattress was a little too firm for my tastes - I like them fairly firm, but not that much. There was a good number of pillows, of different thickness and firmness. There was hair clogged in the shower drain when I arrived, leading the tray to drain slowly and fill with water. There is a small kettle in the room, but the sink is very shallow and the kettle won't fit in it - the only way to get water into the kettle was to fill...

"Wonderful property and staff. It was close to everything so you’re able to walk and get to all attractions, bars, tours etc. parking is the only issue, no on sight parking so you have to find a garage or street parking, pay and then walk. If you find parking jnP2 it’s like $20 a day "
