"The first night was horrible, one room had many bed bugs. We didn’t use one of the rooms as we didn’t want to deal with the bugs.
For the Second room the girls took the bed boards off as they found spiders.
I did request to get moved to another room. Reception was understandable and got us moved the same night.
We did get moved to another bigger cabin. Which was much cleaner. Other than the first night we ran out of water. The last two nights we had issues sleeping due to a sound of a pipe....
"At first place this is not a spa hotel, having pool and massage didn't mak a spa hotel
There is no hot water in the shower, typical for Mexico but not expected in a $400 a night hotel.
My personal opinion, money for nothing."
"The location is great, central with easy access to the plaza. Check-in and check-out were easy, the room was satisfactory. The only issues we ran into were street noise and the shower leaking a lot of water onto the bathroom floor. Otherwise it was comfortable, relaxed, and parking was easy."

"I couldn’t have been more impressed! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city. It made exploring so convenient and stress-free.
The room itself was an absolute dream. Super cozy, with comfy bedding that made it hard to get out of bed in the morning! The room had a warm and inviting vibe, and I really appreciated all the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone was so friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. They were always ready to help with recommendations or any little request, which made me feel truly valued as a guest.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a perfect spot for both relaxation and exploring the city, with fantastic rooms and even better service. Can’t wait to return!"

"Beautiful romantic location. The food was great, the staff were attentive and very pleasant. The room came with a working fireplace and the hotel provided the firewood. The town of Tapalpa is nearby, great restaurants and street food! "

The kitchen staff was incredible. "
"Great experience. Appreciate the attention to detail from the owners . They took the time to cut fruit from their garden and explained in grand detail in regards to their establishment. Will definitely be back the rooms were emaculate . "
