"This was a step down from what I experienced in Cancun but I was told that is too be expected. Staff was great. Food was good but they did close some of the restaurants for dinner. One was about to be remodeled and others were closed because there weren't enough guests to justify keeping them all open. I am luck that this only happened on my last day. I would recommend this hotel if you understand that resorts in this location are not as luxurious as the equivalent resort in Cancun."

"Interesting resort in the forest. Perfect for families as there are many small pools and the water is kept warm/hot. Water park and lazy river are great for kids. Missing is a pool for adult and a cooler pool for swimmers."

"It’s a dated property but worked for us as all we wanted to do was lay by a pool and do nothing. Our room was good with the AC but the unit was very noisy. They didn’t tell us the WiFi password when we checked in so we had to ask someone else for it.
