The cottage was wonderfully comfortable and provided every amenity I needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with expansive and picturesque grounds that invite peaceful walks and moments of reflection. The property manager was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or needs I had. A highlight of my stay was meeting the owner, who generously shared stories and the history of the plantation, including insights into the life of Jefferson Davis, adding depth to my experience.
