"Our stay here was excellent. We stayed here hoping for a quieter visit to Amsterdam, away from the noise of the city and we got exactly what we were looking for. The hotel was steps away from the train station and we had no issues navigating. Staff were also extremely accommodating. "When checking-in I did not receive the correct change. I was charged 87 euros for property taxes. I paid 100 euros, but receive 3 as change. After inquiring on this matter, the hotels manager realized I was robbed. I ended up receiving 20 euros (one as compensation). Watch out for this. "The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the shops which mainly open late mornings on Sunday and Mondays. The room and bed were very comfortable with a contemporary feel and a mini fridge which was empty so we stocked with our own drinks. The room was quiet and the corridors softly lit with a relaxed atmosphere and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant on the first night. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in the hotel and the staff we very helpful."

"We have one recommendation and that is to have the windows in the room open maybe not completely but enough to air the room but apart from that our stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful check in was so easy with the self check, rooms clean and the location was great with everything you need within a15 minute walk. Definitely recommend anyone to stay and will stay again if visiting Zaandam"
