"Although we only stayed for one night it was really enjoyable. The room was exceptionally clean and had a modern feel. We were on the resort side and got to see the maned wolf enclosure from our window. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. It was partners 40th Birthday and the hotel staff were lovely enough to put complimentary birthday balloons a card and a can of sparkling wine in our room. "Stayed for a few nights over a 2 week period for business purposes. All the staff were amazing and very warm & welcoming. The rooms were very luxurious with incredible views of the Yorkshire countryside. Food was fantastic and the ambience was lovely. "

"It was comfortable. Clean beddings. Served the purpose. We were at a room without windows but it didn’t matter that much as we were out most times. I just wish English breakfast was available that’s all. We had a good deal though with Travelodge as kids below 16 have free breakfast 😊"

"The hotel was clean and room was well presented. We used the facilities at the Health Club and we enjoyed that. We have a plant-based diet and we found that plant-based options were very limited at dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again "

"I stayed in a standard double room, it was a little bit noisy due to the squeaky floor boards in our room and surrounding ones. Room 213. Breakfast was good but sausages were a little dry and we had to wait for bacon (when it came there was a big rush which left none again and another wait for others. Staff were friendly "

"The hotel was lovely, we enjoyed it and we had a meal in the Amber restaurant which was also lovely although the menu was a little overcomplicated for my taste, and as a lifelong vegetarian I really don't want fake steak or any kind of fake meat. We thought the staff were lovely. It is really central you can walk anywhere from this hotel."

"Excellent location, equidistant train station and Minster, 10min walk either way. Sora rooftop bar\restaurant a real bonus, we had good weather so that helped. Staff friendly and very helpful, recognised it was my birthday and gave us a voucher for 2 x free drinks. Two minor observations: the settee\couch in our room (506) was very uncomfortable, style over practicality; no recycle bins I could see, even at breakfast no cereal cardboard recycling.
