"This is my second time staying at Ameristar and it does not disappoint. The rooms are great with nice beds, pillows and the bathroom is fantastic! I also love that it's easy to walk to other properties /casinos if you want to check things out. Food at the Fireside Grill is very good with enough variety that you can eat there multiple times and not have the same thing. Overall a positive experience and this is exactly where I'll stay on my next trip to Blackhawk."

"The cabin was clean and equipped as advertised. Having the river right outside the balcony was definitely a plus! We did not use the hot tub - so cannot review that part. The mattress was not comfortable and we struggled to keep from rolling to the middle. But we really enjoyed leaving the window open at night to hear the river. One thing that really bothered us was the water - it had a bad taste. We couldn't drink much of it and even the coffee didn't taste good because of it. Other than...

"We needed one night lodging en route to RMNP and this location was very convenient. Hotel size room sufficient for two adults. King size bed was very comfortable and toiletries teas coffee were available. A patio door allows direct access to outdoor setting area overlooking small water feature with fountain. Check in main lobby at center of the large complex on north side of building …we drove all the way around the parking lot before locating front desk to check in. "

"This place worked out great. Clean studio inside a larger hotel-like building. The shuttle for winter park picks up right at the building (door q) and drops off at the WP ski resort. "
