"We were very happy here during our week in July. Owners are very friendly and helpful, including free use of the telephone! Kitchen and audio/video facilities were very nice (ipod, bluetooth etc). Everything very clean! Nice covered area outside for breakfast or dinner with splendid views over the mountains and sea. A few very small items prevented a 5 star: a noisy fridge was a problem during the night for one of us, swimming pool alarm went off once due to wind late one night (maybe switch it...

"It’s a good location and the breakfast was excellent. It could do with a bit of tlc and if you want to use the rooftop jacuzzi, make sure you book in advance. Also worth checking what day you are going to be in Cilous as eating options are extremely limited on a Monday."

"We did not get to stay at the property , I have no idea how this happened I wanted to book for St. Pierre the island of Nfld you can imagine my disappointment when after 2 hours looking & no one to help us a delivery man figured it out I changed my booking after being told there was no ferry on Monday & thought all was good I could not call hotel as we had no phones with us as we were out of the country so we lost out.."

"What a delightful little find this was! The property owner is absolutely delightful and so very helpful. The room is very spacious and the surrounding areas are lovely. The actual town of Cilaos is so quaint. Really loved it. The actual hotel is quiet, safe, and clean and very centrally located. The parking is very easy and secure as the gate locks at night. Overall, really great place to spend a night or several. Cilaos is a stunning place!"
