"We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable "

While it’s a bit more basic in terms of amenities, the location is perfect for skiing and offers a peaceful getaway. "Beautiful home and convenient to the ski hill. Game room downstairs was great for the kids. Coffee bar was well stocked. Appreciated the snow shovel and salt, since it snowed while we were there. There is no dishwasher (listing says there is one); not a dealbreaker, but would’ve been nice to know in advance so we could bring paper plates and plastic utensils. The double doors in the kitchen and basement lock, but you’re able to pull them open them because there’s no latch to the door frame....
