"Only 10 mins or so to the gate of the park, you won't mind the drive. It's beautiful all around. The cabin is comfy and has everything we needed. We used the grill each night and I appreciate the little touches of having spices, coffee, and oils. Thanks for a great stay!"

I was a bit nervous being off grid, but this property has other guests that stay in their own buildings… it felt like a little village. The room itself was so comfortable, clean and exactly what we needed. There were TONS of stars at night and stunning sunrises in the morning. Could not recommend more. We will be back. "

"It is exactly as advertised. Quiet and remote. Nicely furnished and equipped with all I needed. My host was on time to guide me up to the house and explain everything about off grid living. I was worried about accessing the house in my car and almost rented an SUV. My car is an E series Mercedes which is fairly low to the ground, but I was able to navigate up and down the road for 4 days, only scraping the bottom once. Not an issue, just take your time and pick your route around the high/low...

"This property was gorgeous! I worried we would be “roughing it” here but that wasn’t the case at all. It was clean and welcoming with satellite TV, cool AC and comfortable bedding. Plus a nice bathroom which is important. The view out the front porch can’t be beat! I love that they are dog friendly as we were traveling with our police dog. This was a quiet property and the other guests were all friendly. I hope to come back here one day soon. "

"Very Nice property with well planned A frames! Quality of furniture, kitchen appliances, utensils, supplies all top notch what you would find in a 5 star hotel. Super clean in the middle of Terlingua. Even firewood and supplies for firepit were supplied. Has very nice outside furniture as well. Designed for spectacular views of the night sky. Thank you!"
