"We spent 5 days in Tamarindo and really liked the Best Western. We had a small balcony, but didn't use that so much as the upstairs patio area that was near the pool. We could catch a breeze there when it was hot and in general it was a nice comfortable space to hang out when we weren't doing something outside the hotel area. Visitors should be aware that on Friday nights, there is a very loud party with music that does on until about 2 AM. We were not made aware of this until we arrived but it...

"This property is right on the ocean and right in the middle of the strip - everything walkable. The room is basic & small but it was only a one night stop for us. If staying longer, I would look into the rooms with patio door walkout. Clean, Bathroom w/ a shower with great water pressure, TV, small fridge and toiletries. "Very nice hotel, central but far enough from the bars and clubs, which ensures a very quiet environment, especially at night, which is great. One minor recommendation would be to reinforce the fumigation. In my bungalow, there were quite a few small ants (mainly in the bathroom, but I found a couple in the bed) and a few “zompopas”."

"A beautiful oasis close to all the action of Tam. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Rooms were extra clean, patio with hammock was heaven. Pool area was quiet but allowed for chats with other guests. Would definitely recommend and will stay again."

"We stayed for seven days at this lovely hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful in booking transport to and from airport and our sunset cruise. We had a king bed that was comfortable. The hotel is right in the center of the action and across the street from the beach. The pool area was very cute, and the water was refreshing from the sun. It can get very noisy at night but a couple of more of margaritas helped to drown out the noise. Overall would recommend staying here."

"Wonderful stay at the Tamarindo Bay Hotel a few weeks ago. It's like staying at a mini-resort. Very clean and efficient. Close enough to restaurant row and the beach but, far enough to have perfect peace and quiet in the evening. Our host, Marie, was there at check in and made us feel at home during our three nights here. Will definitely come back for our next trip to Tamarindo."
