"All roads including Interstate 80 were closed leading to Truckee early afternoon due to snow/winter storm. Clerk called to confirm if I was able to make the stay, which I wasn't, and promptly cancelled the reservation because she had travelers stranded in Truckee due to road conditions and wanted to give them a room for the night. I appreciated her honesty, she communicated well and was very pleasant over the phone under those conditions and I was happy I could help other travelers caught in the travel mess! "
