"This was a well-kept and renovated older economy motel. It was quiet and felt safe. Ours had a balcony with a sliding door. The front desk lady was really nice. Very conveniently located on the side of Bar Harbor near the Hull’s Cove Visitor Center of Acadia National Park, so you avoid town traffic en route to the park. Grocery 5 minutes drive. Great BBQ 5 minutes drive. "

"The close proximity to Bar Harbor, yet away from the crowd was the real value. The pool deck has an amazing panoramic view of Frenchmans Bay. Shuttle bus was not running, we found out it didnt start until 23 June. Not a problem, but with the apparent Uber shortage, it required us to walk the 1.2 miles or take the rental car and pay about $10 to park for a few hours. Room service was a little unreliable as we were semi-serviced on one night and routinely shorted towels for the 4 of ua staying. "
