"We head great stay with my family and friends, the house was really beautiful and very species, and very comfortable. The living room with large windows look on to the lakefront was breathtaking. The water condition is good and shallow and safe for kids."

"We had an amazing 2 weeks at this cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. It is large and spacious with amazing waterfront. There are multiple tiers or areas outside, so you can spread out, or all spend time together on the large dock by the waterfront. The hosts thought of everything and were very very responsive. "

"Great location for fishing and swimming. Lots of sun and shade. Great views from the property. Water was a great temp for swimming and cooling off. Roomy cottage with all amenities needed for an enjoyable stay."

"Nice location and great access to bala groceries and shops. Nice little beach. Nice kayaks, older paddle boat, and shallow water for little kids. Cottage is aging and kept up well. Pillows, linens, and beds are basic and adequate. Great air conditioning. Small washer and dryer was a must for two little kids. Host took a while to respond to messages and there were no checkout instructions, even after sending a message, other than depart by 1100 from the checkin message v"

"The location is good. Close to the beach and grocery store. The swim area access slippery and rocky so I recommend to bring water shoes. The lake is not too busy with motor boats so we were able to catch some fish. The hosts were nice and responsive. Overall nice stay."

"I was highly impressed with the cabin's exterior and interior. Plenty of surrounding forest. Plenty of muskoka villages and lakes nearby. Scenery aplenty.Also, lots of places to go hiking. Wonderful restaurants and cafes."

"Beautiful spot with incredible view. Just a few minor details overlooked. More cooking pots/pans would be handy, as well as additional tea, towels, washcloths, and dish cloths. A recommendation might be to cut back the trees in the entrance slightly as to allow for a safer exit onto busy roadway. Overall, Wonderful for a relaxing vacation. Paddle boards on site were certainly appreciated. "

"We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ira’s place. It was as advertised. Having use of the canoe was great. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. We spent a great deal of time just sitting outside overlooking the lake. Our dog also enjoyed the experience! "

"Cottage is overall clean and modern, shared areas are not very spacious. Location is very good, peaceful, quiet, and very nice view. Outdoor area was amazing, firepit very enjoyable. Jacuzzi was dirty, we had to contact owner to request instructions on how and if we could clean up the water ourselves. Garbage/Recycling bins were full when we checked in, with bugs and smelly. Making sure to place garbage bags in center of cage, as raccoons can grab and make a mess if placed close to fence, would...
