"Very beautiful setting, staff very friendly and helpful 5stars for them, the room was very nice with a very lovely large bed. Easy walking access to st ives but getting a cab back is a good idea. I would avoid room 84 as the veiw is overlooking the glass roof of the pool and you can hear everything happening in bar downstairs, but that is a minor inconvenience, I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone."

"I asked for a late check out which I was given without a problem which was much appreciated. The Gym was handy. I had a room overlooking the main road which wasn't a problem. Overall a good experience."

"Unfortunately when we checked the bed, the linen was not upto standard. We reported it to reception and moved us to another room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and apologised and would be taking up the issue with housekeeping. The location the hotel was ideal for us, a couple of minutes walk from Bath Spa train station but easy to get to the shops and theatres. "

"The Clayton is perfectly situated for a weekend trip to Bristol. The hotel is very clean and tidy with really helpful staff. Our room was quiet, warm, cosy and very comfortable. With plenty of nearby parking and city centre location it’s easy to get about either on foot or otherwise. Having stayed in Bristol on many occasions I have to say that this hotel definitely comes recommended. "

"Very easy to find reception as it's all well sign posted. Checking in was very easy and they were ready for us early. Staff were very friendly and informative. Plenty of information leaflets of what's around and what amenities are withig the hotel and where. Dining options, booking advised. We booked breakfast which was a full English style buffet, pastries, fruit, yogurts, coffees, teas, juices etc etc. well worth it. Plenty of parking, there was a conference going on whilst we were there and parking wasn't an issue. We booked an apartment, very nice! Spacious clean and tidy. Absolutely love that the shower gel/shampoo hand wash is Pengaligons. Smelt amazing. There's an outside gym too, walk paths of you fancy going for a walk. Definitely will visit again."
