"It’s not the quality of the Sofitel, Hyatt or Intercontinental but nice enough for an airport layover in Papeete. Sadly I must say say that a large cockroach was in the room which I terminated and I floundered another in my luggage when I arrived in NZ!"

Over water bungalow and surrounding water was beautiful Staff was excellent -5 star and above. Snorkeling , kayak and Paddle board etc. right at the resort. A once in a lifetime vacation for myself. "We had a lagoon view bungalow. Extremely well situated, close to the beach. The compound gives the feel of a peaceful village with bungalows scattered on the lawn. We cannot review the restaurant, because there were many other dining opportunities in the vicinity that we tried out."

"The hospitality here was way better than at the Hilton (we stayed at both). The garden villa with pool provided excellent privacy and a wonderful place to lounge during the day. The pool was also the best of all the places we stayed. Highly recommend staying where. Only advice is the overwater villas don’t have much privacy or a view- pool villa is a much better deal!"
