"The hotel has changed massively since we last went before you ate in the dining room overlooking the bay restaurant has been moved now you see car park don't get me wrong it was very nice but I preferred the old set up it also has no pool now "

"Decent enough place to stay. Showing it's age in places but overall clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Easy to check in, and I set off early the following morning - leaving the keys in the box in the hallway. Very convenient for the town centre and seafront if you don't mind a few minutes walk. Variety of restaurants nearby, even before you reach the town centre."

"I had a very joyful moments as it was my first time in Scarborough. Hotel Location and scenery over the hill was amazing. There was a very good walkway towards beach and to the town centre that help us to have a lovely walk around the city centre and coast line. "

"Lovely guest house, I had a very comfortable, large room. Although no sea view! The bathroom was a bit too small though, especially the shower cubicle. The bed was very high (needed a stepladder!) but comfortable. The room really needs a splash of colour as it was bland in its decor. Breakfast was very good and the dining room itself very beautiful with a huge log fire. The staff were exceedingly helpful, friendly and had lots of local knowledge. I'd stay there again"

"Arrived at hotel seen to by a lovley gentleman, unfortantly the rooms hadnt been cleaned. However concierge offered upgrade for free so cant complain. Dealt with professionally. Rooms need a major upgrade all outdated but fantastic lobby and bar with the classic english look. Would stay again as it beats the sister hotel the grand."
