"This is a great resort to stay at. We traveled with our 4 year old who enjoyed the expansive pool. There is not much beach but you can walk or run almost into San Pedro on it (about 2 miles). If you are going to Belize to dive or other tours keep in mind most of them leave from San Pedro. You will need to arrange transport from the hotel, either calling for a taxi or renting a golf cart. Driving the golf carts around Ambergis Caye is a bit of experience, but not too bad as there aren't a ton of other cars. There are several really good restaurants within 0.5 mile walk from the resort. There is also a small convenience store with produce. "

"The place was right on the beach. It has 2 pools, both cleaned daily. The beach is also cleaned daily, and walks right into the water. There is a beach bar and restraint on site, so very convenient. They play live music every other day(this may be bothersome for some as you can hear it from your room, but it never bothered us, we were able to relax and fall asleep no matter the noise level) The rooms are clean and well kept and the bed was comfortable. This is an older hotel, most in the area are, but it has been well maintained. The photos on hotels.com were accurate. The location was excellect. There is a coffee shop across the street, and they have lots of options to choose from coffee, latte, iced coffee, tea, smoothies, etc. There is plenty of parking onsite at the hotel for your golf cart as well. We had a great time in San Pedro, if you want a great Dive Place check out Island Divers at the Corona DelMar hotel, those guys were excellent! It was just me and my husband this trip, but we plan on coming back with our children, and we would be happy to stay at this hotel again. It was perfect for us and has everything you need. I hope this helps for anyone looking for a good place to stay. Oh and the price was amazing…you really can’t beat it"

"X'Tan Ha was great. Beach cleaned daily, relaxing property you can walk around barefoot. Friendly staff. A little far from town but plenty of restaurants and bars close and excellent food and drinks on site. If you are looking for a quiet relaxed atmosphere X'tan Ha totally delivers."

"We enjoyed our ocean view and ocean front rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient to town and snorkeling excursions. No golf cart needed unless you have mobility issues. Hotel arranged a golf cart to be brought to the hotel which we booked for one day to go to secret beach for about $50 usd. Some construction nearby and pool a bit cool for swimming. Water off the beach is warmer about 80 degrees and you can swim off nearby dock at the Palapa bar. Overall all a very enjoyable stay. "

Within walking distance to restaurants and stores but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. Whatever you need, the team at Mata To is will do their best to make it happen. "
