Amazing experience. The beach and pool are beautiful. Our butler Luis went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. The staff is amazing and the food was excellent. We even had an open bar 1 min walking from our room. We plan on coming back for sure! The entertainment was great as well! Shout out to Pierre who is always smiling and in a good mood!

The staff were the literal best, so friendly, so social, so helpful. The beach and pool areas are gorgeous. However, literally some of the least appetizing food we've ever had. It was like low budget summer camp food- over cooked pasta, boiled unseasoned vegetables. Almost comical how bad the food was, all the guests were talking about it. Regularly went to bed hungry.

Pros: pool, beach, water aerobics class, gym Cons: drinks, buffet food was flavorless and had many flies on it at all times, tried to call room service and was sent to voicemail, asked for an umbrella because there was not one in my room and they escorted me to my room to make sure there was not one in my room, they asked me to leave the buffet because I was not dressed “gala-style”, they did not have reservations for the restaurants all week because they were only opening 1 restaurant per night.

This property is absolutely beautiful We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The timesshare salesmen made us feel a little uncomfortable but other than that everything was great. Things to note.. this resort is 2 hours from the airport. It's a Tourist area so they upcharge for everything. This resort has mainly an older crowd and couples.

I really liked this property, very quiet and safe. Loved the beach and the buffet’s menu was so good. Very friendly staff. I would’ve liked to have a jacuzzi in the room, or the mini pool at the room working, other than that everything was good.

Beautiful hotel and beach. Food delicious. Good service. My only concern was at check in. I was going to paid at the property and they charged the card on file. I explained that I had emailed with the hotel and they said I had to contact them the next business day. I also requested a welcome drink that I received when they wanted to give it to me. Overall good experience.

My stay was really good. One thing I didn’t like it’s the food was always the same every day . Pool and beach are perfect but sometimes crowded which did not bother because my room had a private pool . Entertainment was good as well. Drinks were perfect . Staff were nice and friendly. Overall it was nice. I have plan to come back second or third week of September and this time I am going to try the bungalow .

An Absolutely wonderful, resort. So to start, I did an extensive amount of research in picking a honeymoon destination for my wife and I. Read and reread, many many reviews, watched all the way up to the day we left, for the resort. And all i can say is, i have no idea how anyone, could not just Absolutely love this place. Everything was perfect, our bungalow, exceeded our expectations. The beach, was beautiful, and never crowded. The food and staff also fantastic, if anything can be said that would be negative, would be about the buffets. But, that is also hard to do, the nature of buffets is food that sits out, for periods of time, it is what it is, to complain, ti me is to not to have been to enough, or others. Every member of the staff were kind and very accommodating. Any language barrier, was completely on out part, and all tried to do there very best to get around our lack if spanish. I can not understand anyone, that is not fluent, to expect people of the Dominican Republic, or at Viva, to accommodate there lack of language. Just as in the U.S, I would not expect people, to not be able to speak English, thats part of traveling, that opens your mind and eyes, the beauty of other cultures. Again its very hard to articulate the best words to describe our stay at Viva, outside of amazing,fantastic, and incredible. Thank you to all at Viva, you made our honeymoon, an adventure and ave us memories we will cherish fir a lifetime

I loved everything about this place. The property is very well mantained, it's beautiful and peaceful but fun at the same time. The entertainment staff goes beyond their duties so you can enjoy your time. I'll be back for sure but I will not stay on the bungalows again as I didn't see any added value. Related to food options I'll stay with the buffet because the other options were not that good on my opinion.

I think for the price it was great hotel. It little laid back for my taste, given that it's an adults only hotel. Food was good, service was good. Activities were good. I did not like that there is no pool bar.

Pagamos para una habitación de tres y una de dos y nos pusieron unos en el 1er nivel y mi esposo y yo en la 3ra; aún explicándoles que tenía problemas de rodilla y que tenía 3 años sin ver a mis hijos y los quería al lado no nos cambiaron; que eso era y punto; aún habiendo capacidad en el hotel. Muy nice que varias actividades acuáticas estaban incluidas.
