On the advice of the concierge, we began our last day with breakfast at Le Passe Compose for real Quebecois cuisine (excellent variations on poached eggs!) and then walked along Sainte-Catherine St., through colourful Gay Village and got a feel for Downtown Montreal. It's a walk worth doing.
all under construction this summer, will be beautiful when done but street access limited, watch your footwork.
