"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. "Had a really lovely stay in your beautiful holiday home. Gorgeous and relaxing surroundings and couldn’t have asked for more in the house itself. Extremely clean, modern and fully stocked with everything we needed i really loved the little extras like the yummy cakes & drinks on arrival. Christine was a wonderful and super friendly host, greeting us as we arrived and gave a very good tour of the house. "We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right. "We were completely happy with this gorgeous cottage in a very sleepy and not too far removed village. Honfluer is only 10 mins drive away - perfect really. Considering the price, this is a five star rating for us. The place is clean and spacious. Beds are comfy! Shower is amazing! Wifi very strong. The host was very friendly and relaxed. Plenty of chopped wood for fire and bbq. Like I say - the ideal stay! We will come back some day! Especially for Pipa the sweet goat. : )"

"A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

"Lovely cottage with everything you need for a self catering holiday and really cosy. Yport still retains its village atmosphere, it has a few nice shops for your supplies and a pebble beach to enjoy. The only disappointment was the small garden which had been neglected and was overgrown, we weeded and tidied it up for our use. We would all return without hesitation."

We were charged an extra €60 for bedding, which was not mentioned in the listing. Towels were not provided so it's a good thing we brought our own."
