"We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. The interior is a bit outdated on some occasions an could do with some repairs, but our stay was very much ok. If i visit...

"We had a wonderful and lovely week in Bernieres sur mer. Isabelle and Guillaume were perfect hosts and their chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. Also, it had all the facilities we required. The use of bikes was an added bonus👌 Thank you. The location was very quiet and near to the beach where we enjoyed many strolls and bike rides along the promenade stopping for lunch/dinner/coffee/icecream etc - superb. It was a great central location to explore all the Normandy towns and WWII sites....

"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "The gite had all We needed for a comfortable stay. A short walk to the beach. Plenty of local amenities. Absolutely fabulous hosts."

"Maddie (the owner)was there if required and very helpful. Well equipped and quiet place to stay. If you have children there is a vast amount od toys and a toy shed. There are chickens at the end of the garden and love to be fed any scraps you have left. The garden is well kept and very pleasant. I give it 5 stars."
