« We had our best Christmas visit to CO yet when staying for 10 days in this great property! Only 20 minutes from our son's house in Penrose, minutes from stores, restaurants, gas, museums. « The property was not really within walking distance of downtown area. Beautiful house but we went at Christmas time and they had no decorations. I realize they probably worry about offending someone but I don’t think garland on the fireplace mantels or a fake poinsettia here or there would have been an issue. It would have been nice if they had some box games for kids or families to play while staying there. Ok for a night or two. »

« Nothing super fancy, but very clean. Bed was very comfortable. A/C and fans worked great, so we were very comfortable. All the kitchen tools and amenities we needed. We didn't bring a pet, but it would be a great place if you do have one. Lots of room in the backyard for pets to roam. »

« This place is absolutely incredible. Pics don't do it justice. You are the ONLY house within the Royal Gorge. And the view is simply spectacular. There is TONS of space in the common area which was great for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked and beyond (loved the tea and coffee setup :). « If you like what you see in the pictures it’s even beautiful in person. Great place for big groups. There is everything you need for little kids, to teens to adults. We felt really safe and peaceful. The view is beautiful. The beds are so comfy, spacious and very clean. The communication with the host was very easy and friendly. Would be coming back!! »
