"We stayed here for a trip to CU and it was an ideal location, a 3-mile drive to campus & dining options in walking distance. We found parking across the street so didn't have to opt for the $25/night parking garage. The room was spacious and quiet, comfortable beds. The only thing we didn't like was the sliding glass door for the bathroom because you could hear everything and couldn't prevent light from shining into the rest of the room at night. Breakfast was decent and staff was very friendly."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Nicky’s. I’m not a lodging snob and as an introverted solo female traveler, I just want a safe, comfortable, non-nonsense, no-frills place to lay my head and to be left alone. My room was clean, warm, with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The motel lodging has what I would call a “modern rustic” vibe and that’s what I appreciate. While I was there in the winter and it wasn’t a full house, I could still hear people above and next to me, but whatever; that is what earplugs are for. If you are looking for high end amenities and finishes and all-inclusive royal treatment this isn’t your place. But if you want somewhere to relax in peace after a day of enjoying the park and fresh air for a really reasonable rate, this is a great choice. "
